Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is provided to treat teeth with infection or inflammation. If this inflammation or infection is left untreated, it can lead to an abscess in the tooth and considerable pain. By removing the infection, a root canal can stop existing pain and potentially prevent further tooth deterioration and pain. This treatment is performed using rubber dam isolation to provide a sterile working environment. Root canal treatment is recommended to be followed up by placing a crown over the tooth to prevent the tooth from breaking.
