Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is sometimes required at the time of extraction and/or before implant placement to provide a strong and healthy environment for placement of a dental implant. Sterilized bone grafting material is used to build up the area where an implant is to be placed. Once the area has had time to heal and allow for new bone to grow, a dental implant can be placed.
